does it go up to 11?....sorry could not resist.

Yes, thanks, that range is perfect. OK, so I am curious by the pic of the receiver. Perhaps I read the ad wrong a year ago, but I thought one of the selling points was that in your system, here wasn't a separate box in addition to the motor. Was that based on using the Zigbee? So now there is a separate box. What will that require in terms of extra cables/wiring? Thanks

As far as I know the receiver box always was there

I must admit that I too, always had the impression that the reciever was in the motor.
Actually I dont think it was ever mentioned. Was lead to believe that you just plugged the motor to power directly.
Fortunately the unit looks small and light!
Do you offer mounting solutions?

I will be using an ET SpeedyClamp to mount the Impero receiver.

Yep, always a separate receiver since day 1. They had (and probably still do have) diagrams showing how it all hooks up on their web site. Their web store has listed the Impero controller as including the controller, wireless receiver, mounting bracket and marking disc ever since it went online.

All this chat and posts are nice.
But all this doesn't matter if we don't actually have it in our hands and be able to work with it. It would be like never exist.
When are we going to have a fully operational VFS remote focus in our hands?
Anyone, including Curt, can answer it?
I will also add, are we going to have a fully operational VFS remote focus in our hands at all?

i cant wait to see this product finally out there and reviewed.

I only check this thread once a month or so now. Not sure what the news is, but have they shipped any of these? Weren't these suppose to be available a year ago?

I would say, a selected few are Alpha testing right now.

It should be any day now that they roll out, but that has been out theme around here for a while now.
