  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I am not in a rush for my unit. I also met Curt at NAB and he really is a nice guy. I did get to see a feel the follow focus and i know it is existing. I have been following this thread for a long time as many of you have and I just can't believe how this is all going about.

Well, yes, well...at least my Cinevate FF turned up today so i have something in the kit to tie me over. Mind you, i would have bought one a year ago if i knew it was gonna be this long. And now watch what will happen...bet you i get Fedex shipping numbers emailed in the next couple weeks.

Great Curt, thanks for updating us as you said you would. That brief statement taking a couple minutes is what we want...good stuff...thank you.
Forget the pitchforks from certain folks, I'm more than happy for you to get it right and ship a quality product...just keep letting us know where you are at.

Curt, Erik has stated that he's waiting on 100 imperos from you in order to fulfill he's backorders. Can you PLEASE just give us an idea of when that's likely to happen.
I'm sure I'm not the only one looking/sounding very silly having to constantly come up with excuses for my hard-earned loyal customers.

Also, I'd like to know what is the official customer-contact VF email adress? I tried info@vf , but I don't get any answer! I'd just like to make sure VF get my new shipping adress! (It's been so long since I ordered, I've had the time to move twice!)

I send mails (many time the same) to john@vf & info@vf
I use these addresses (receiving answers) when I paid (400 days ago) and when they ship our Origo but now they're gone... On holiday it's a joke but after one year I start being tired of this...
 
Is it just me or am i the only one reading Curt's posts...do you all not take these posts as updates or not bother scrolling up the page a little? The last week and a half or so have seen some improvement in their updates, not much info but something at least. I would expect to have another good update this week as he stated they received parts back and are building up 20 units to test through i would presume on monday. As i said, i would EXPECT and update again before this weeks end.
 
I've got a mail!!! No news, no update but at least they're still there working...

Can you answer to the questions regarding Imperos!
Without it, my canon+birger gear is a pain to use... Everyone is complaining about it...

You haven't had any enginnering problems around the impero for a while now, so I really feel you should be able to give us a delivery schedule. It's only a matter of assembling them, right?

I also would like you to confirm that I will not have to wait for my inclino to be ready to get my impero... I don't care if I have to pay extra for shipping... I just want my impero. I want it yesterday!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ignore this post the way you ignore my emails.

Nowadays I occasionally visit this thread - and it's quite disappointing I must say. I Paid in full in December - and reading about a lot of you paid in full a year a go certainly doesn't raise the spirit. I hope I wlll recieve my FF this year anyhow...
