How are ya man? Peter that plate v-mount is nice, do you like ab batteries better?
Paul,

Just curious how fast you got yours? I ordered over 10 days ago, told it would ship the next day. And then haven't heard anything since but have been charged. I tried emailing twice and have yet to get a response.

I also will be running the 19mm w/swit rail for the top handle, i think it may have enough clearance for the battery, hard to tell.

Thanks!

This picture Tonaci just posted seems to show the Woodencamera handle with a Vmount on the Scarlet - not sure of the length on the RED top handle vs Woodencamera, but looks like there might be enough clearance.

Paul ordered the very first plate we made. Per the discussion earlier in the thread, we had a manufacturing issue with some hole tolerances and just got the plates back that have the problem remedied. Btw, just to clarify, we do not bill until we ship - the funds aren't transferrred from your account until we capture the order when its shipped. Also, you have to give us more than 15 minutes to answer your emails ;)

Thanks for getting back to me promptly Curt!

Hey you said this about powering the redmote via APU plate:

"But what about power? We're working on a line of power cables for the REDmote to keep it charged when you're wearing the APU on the back. The first one will be a P-Tap to USB cable for charging from the APU-IDX or APU-AB. The other ones? That's a secret for now..."

Im very interested in this one! When are you possibly ready to ship that kind of cable?

Stay tuned for info on that this weekend.

In other news: Click here to order APU-AB plates
WE WILL BE SHIPPING THE FIRST BATCH NEXT WEEK.

And one more question. Is it possible to connect the redmote to the camera (non-wirelessly) when using APU plate? With some kind of cable maybe? I have heard that the redmote is not performing very well in wireless mode even close to camera. Or can I use the redmote reliably close to the camera in wireless mode yet?

Yes... More on that topic later this weekend :)

New Plate looks great guys, not to get off topic but what AB battery is that photographed (dionic 90?) and about how much time running just epic and LCD do you get...rough guess. Best of luck guys.

They're renderings, not photographs. The only photographs so far don't include batteries.

I'd assume we should see about 90 minutes of run time on a Dionic 90, although HC would be much better due to the power draw.
