VF | Brook's APU Battery Plates [IDX & AB, REDmote charging cable!]

Sorry for the threadjack Brook & Curt, but just an update for anyone having this issue with THE CLUTCH and AB-APU

I took the 19mm Universal mount from the rear of the shoulder pad and bolted it in between the Dovetail Baseplate and shoulder pad, which added ~1" of space and allows the battery to just barely clear the shoulder pad. I'll have to buy another Universal 19mm Mount to re-attach to the back of the shoulder pad and make that nice angle for the rear pad dogbone attachment, but for the most part everything's working quite well now. The camera being around an inch farther forward does make it slightly more front-heavy, but with the way THE CLUTCH grips my body it's hardly noticeable.
So got that figured out for now...

Thanks for the update Trevor. I will soon find myself in the same situation. I'm glad you found a workaround. Could you possibly post a picture of your new clutch set up?
