  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Trost Slider GROUP BUY - limited time

Looking good Gabriel! We start principal photography Feb 24th but its mostly a handheld show so I'm getting less heat from the Key in the way of sliders. I know right after this show though we jump back into commercial world which is all product shooting in dire need of a two axis slider :)
(That isn't until April though)

Just discovered the Trost and +1 on interest in a group buy extension once the existing orders have been filled. And if anyone's needs have changed and would like someone to replace them in line, please shoot me a message!

This thing is crafted solo well. I have the 100 & 50, which offers so many moves. I understand we are moving...toward a motorized add on. Any time line..Gabe?

No release timeline yet for motorized control, but it's in the works and moving along quickly.

Because the Trost sliders are such an incredible advance in built and design as far as quality and sturdiness of the gear, as well as the high precision movement that can be achieved, this are the type of news we like to ear Gabe... ;)
 
I've been loving the Trost so far, unfortunately my Dragon is out of the house for a little bit so I've had to resort to playing with the D800 on it...

Wow Greg, I remember when I made that thing for the original indie-slider. I have somehting similar from an old Matthews High hat but I have an 8ball slider that is native mitchell mount so that hasn't been a priority.

Evin, that Manfrotto bowl adapter is a great idea. I'm sort of smacking my forehead that we haven't been recommending this to people. Does anyone know if it will accept a variety of 3/8 bolt lengths?
