The fact that other features have a higher priority doesn't mean "time lapse features right now are not a priority for RED Co." You have misquoted Deanan.

Jim

Unfortunately time lapse features right now are not a priority for Red Co., according with Deanan.

[Tom Lowe]

Even for me, I'd rather have Playback than Timelapse

*cough cough*

[Deanan]

What Jim said...

Timelapse has is a priority but not as high a priority as say playback.

I do not see a misquote, but I see a word issue. Sorry guys that was not my intention...English is a funny language.

Im probably really late to this convo but I have to back what Tom said 100%. Playback is so crucial for us all.

Here's a super brief iphone video of one of my 96 fps shots from EDC Vegas. This footage looks unreal even at 1/4 res.

Another BTS shot on stage filming Skrillex at 96fps on Pocket Jib.

[R. Gonzales]

Tom, that just looks like a whole lot of fun.

[Phil Jagger]

Is the guy with you dancing or copying your jib moves with his arm?...or is he dancing by copying your jib moves with his arm?

[Tom Lowe]

That's my assistant Dr. Kanab going apeshit, dancing.

Me and the Dr. filming Mt. Eden crowd with 50mm MP...

[Jonathan Bregel]

you guys must be having a blast. Cant wait to see more footage from the shoot.

[paulherrin]

tom, what's the deal with strobes? how did you have to sync them with the camera?

[Michael Millichamp]

Awesome Tom!

Was this at Nocturnal fest? or a different Dubstep festival.

[Nathaniel Haban]

The trailer for "Timescapes" was breathtaking. Can't wait to see the full film.

On a related note, there was another member looking for advice on motion controlled dolly, and thought I'd refer you over to them.
