Will the mount also be available in "unobtanium"? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I think the x18 is for the mount only. Like if the value of the mount is $500 then it will be $9000 more.... which is .... hmm...hmmmm...hmm... quite expensive...Titanium looks sexy...but 18X the price is a bit...expensive...
Aluminum is standard On Epic, and you can pay the difference to upgrade to Titanium
PL , or Stainless PL, your choice.
Titanium PL mount is great! But I would like Sanjin to elaborate further on Leica lenses for
5K. I am very interested!
Milan, for the love of god.. Dont get Sanjin started!
Actually.. I'm interested too...
Hi Jarred, I know its not the place for this question, but will we have the chance to see some fix scarlet footage soon. I know we are boring...and I know you work a lot but you mentioned this week and we are red freaks...sorry...but its your fault we became freaks ha,ha, ha...
Which reminds me, have you gotten any attention from NASA yet? Epic seems to be the perfect space cam. :}
Let me guess...
$2000 for the Titanium mount itself?
$1500 skip the standard PL and upgrade to Titanium?
We tested a longer focal length Leica on the Epic.. and it covered the full 5k sensor.
$1500 for the Stainless, $2500 for the Titanium.
So Jarred does this means then when using the Epic-X and RPP 300mm for photography work, this new mount options will be a much safe situation were we don't have to really worry about support?
Also, sorry again, can we have it Anodized? Or will it only come in the Titanium Silver/Gray?
