Looks beautiful but there was a lot of camera work involved.

If you have not seen Le Gouffre, it has what the makers call a "painterly" style. It too is very nice.

Wow, yeah. Really well done. I still hope to learn this kind of animation someday, write and 'direct' my own stuff. Thanks for sharing this. Very cool.

AI script writing is exactly what you expect - horrible.

It isn't perfect, no. Best line in 'It's No Game' -- East or West says '"it doesn't make any sense!", and the chick responds with enthusiasm, "I know, right?!"

Anyways, as a writer who has written two or three ballet features (one produced) and a good handful of ballet shorts, I found the choreography scene in 'It's No Game' to be brilliant! Of course that wasn't all AI, but the blurb says they fed a bunch of ballet terms into the AI mix, and that's what they came up with. You cans see the terms pop up on the screen side as she dances.

The scary or exciting part is that this is just the beginning. Won't be long before AI writing is packaged and sold along with Final Draft, and maybe eventually replacing it.

It's not painted but I'll put in a plug for Anomalisa. Beautiful look and great story. Stop motion.

Wow, yeah. Gorgeous!! A must see, and thanx for plugging it.

I don't know how they did the VG film, really. I just don't get techie stuff. Some years ago I worked on a project where the filmmaker took something like 20,000 individual photos, then ran them through the computer to get this ...

Also 'filmed' on a flipped apex ...
