  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The big question is whether or not this will apply to a dealer order. I switched from direct to dealer because of the potential to receive the S-W faster. Either way though, really awesome!

My Epic Dragon is going back to RED for the upgrade to Weapon MG tomorrow. I am told that the upgrade likely be completed till October. Maybe I get back a Weapon Helium... :-))))))

Waiting for all the Information in October. But I am happy with my Weapon MG...

and no you all aren't getting free cameras...but you will get some paths that are going to cost you a bit more money (and me a lot more money)... If you want.

Just make sure you pay attention... Because like usual... It will likely cause another traffic jam very quickly..

What is the best platform to keep an eye on for these kind of releases? This thread, the website, newsletter?
(Or is this only for already existing owners of a red camera?)

If by chance we get our orders in September is this still good (whatever it is)? Or is this only for orders that come October or later?
 
Red became some kind of lottery, and I've been the unluckiest person here ^^ I missed absolutely all the good opportunities, I even sold my scarlet-D offering half of the owner upgrade discount to the new buyer as it was supposed to be one upgrade discount in the life of the camera, and was told after that, from a rep, that the new buyer will also have the possibility to get the upgrade discount, now I had to cancel my first day order because I needed a camera haha, but well, it was a fun ride since 2011, no regrets.

I'm in the same boat. I switched my order to a dealer and it's all paid for. If they don't get allocated by October, I'm going to talk to them and tell them I'm willing to jump on the Helium wagon, and then hope they put their order in quickly enough that we can get our camera by April.

One thing is true: Jarred seems to worry more about making it right to his customers than the companies bottom line. And by doing that, the bottom line also does well. Everyone is happy. Sometimes its painful, yes, but at least in my experience, he always makes it right, and thats why he has a customer for life in me.
 
Ho here you go...now I wish I got the SW later...hope there will be a good path in the future also for SW owners,but anyway I think the who got the SW should be quite happy for few years...no?
 
I'm curious about what Jarred means with "a path", would it be similar to like dragon to helium conversion... (But translated for the customers on a budget of course ;)) or a new kind of path... Curiouser and curiouser
