My 4930 six core hackintosh clocked at 4Ghz with GTX680 is a cca 20% faster than 6 core trashcan with dual D700 in RCX.
Don't need to mention how much cheaper. I can't do 6k half debayer so I am sure you can't too.

8 core trashcan + D700's and PegasusR2 RAID, with release version of RCX...opening 6k FF clip in Red Player.

Full Debayer = slideshow
1/2 debayer, if you let if buffer a few seconds you can play at 23.98 fps but the playhead will catch up and start to stall
1/4 debayer or lower if you want real-ish time.

If wait long enough for cashing you can play 6K FF full debayer at 25fps.
Anyway I am not patient egough to spend 6k $ on machine and the wait for it to play the clip.

Here are some render times that I did testing a couple of computers. Exporting to ProRes 422 1920x1080 from a 5K full file. Full debayer.

I think you guys should be reaaaaaaal slow about releasing the Mac version. Force everybody onto the good platform. Then in the future you only have to develop for one!

I have a trashcan 3.5Ghz 6-core E5 with Dual Fire cards, 64gb of Ram and this thing is FAST. i can preview 5K HD footage real-time in RCX with no Red Rocket when I set the GPU prefs to Open-CL. SOOOOO FAST.
