I feel people want to see the beauty of the footage raw with the correct settings, so we can have an idea of no matter what a non pro will do the picture is still great. Most people with a Red camera post great works but now I see how Clowns can cause issues. Test shots come out better than some of this crap so I think you are doing it on purpose.

Had a little spare time today and brought my Raven to the driving range near my house, "disclaimer" this was not very thought out and shot handheld. Heres a little sample, high frame rate. 2k (WS) - 300 FPS - Redcode 8:1 - converted to prores 422 (HQ) for upload.

Nice, always love seeing some golf shots. Held up quite nicely considering it's 300fps. Was that a 2k crop in camera?

I was mostly just playing around with a new 800mm lens I had gotten since the sunset was perfect two nights ago. It's not the greatest lens in the world, but those shots are pretty amazing. I'm gonna really enjoy this camera. Black hole sun in the second shot though :-(

Nice man, what 800mm you got?

Holy shit. F&$King love the Raven. First big shoot today and dammmm.

Thanks! Used Sigma 18-35mm. No HDR. We had good sunlight and a bounce on her that's it.
Looking like the Sigma 18-35mm is a go to for all the lucky ducks that already have their Ravens. Shots look awesome...keep posting more...please

Quickly put together a few shots from my first shoot with the Raven. All the info is in the description. Very slight color grade in Premiere. Can't release the files publicly or make it downloadable, sorry, I need to keep it private and respect the client.

But damn I'm impressed with it!!! :yesnod:

Nice work Michael! What was your ISO and was ND used? Looked pretty bright out. I assume compression was 3:1 except the 120fps shots?

Thanks! I used 800. For ND it was a 0.9 Tiffen. YEah was bright but the DR is just so good. No I was actually at 8:1 lol yeah the 120fps was 15:1

Nice! Yes, DR is impressive for sure! RAVEN is a little beast!!!

Nice man - what lens was for the close up eye shots? Did you use film convert for the look?

Thank you, this was shot in between a scout so wasn't really planed. All natural light, handheld, with very minimal gear (camera, one lens, one battery, and shoulder rig). Used a canon 24-105 lens. I used the lumetri color panel in Premier for the look mostly s-curve adjustments.

Had an hour to kill while out scouting locations threw this together. https://vimeo.com/172291456
Really nice work man! 24-105...come to show that a lens do not make the man ;-) looking very good!

However, the vimeo clip I'm seeing has a ton of banding and generally image quality on vimeo is not good (vimeo is going down hill at the moment). Any chance you could please add a downloadable version of this? and if possible 4K or maybe even 1080p prores?

Really impressive stuff, I'm glad to see it handles bright light well.

And the talent on screen doesn't exactly hurt either!
