Umm...
maybe you missed the FS7 announcement: 4k raw 14 stops DR iso 2000 same chip as F5/F55 and quite a nice package and in no way consumer or prosumer for about 12000$
When using DEB is it stuck in RCX? Or can you carry it over to use in Premiere Pro? I've never had good luck using RCX for any kind of export. To me the FS7 demo footage looked too much like... for lack of a better word, "Japanese-TV". I guess some may refer to that as the "Sony look".
Imagine If you shot on MX and pushed the alchemy setting all the way to the left, locked the mid-lows and crushed the blacks - That look!
I pointed my new as of this monday scarlet dragon out the window on a sunny midday and was able get a fat exposure and nice HL rolloff w/ no clipping at around T2.5 @ 500ISO... I'm completely blown away by the Dragon sensor.
With any other camera i'm always fighting w/ ND and IR to avoid clipping and avoid color cast - that is a thing of the past with Dragon. This beast is a lot like shooting film!
The new non-beta redcine-x has DEB now... and wow, any chroma noise is GONE - even in under exposed shots. YMMV

I suspect Adobe may need to supply an update before their apps understand DEB, OLPF changes to color science and any other recent changes RED has introduced to the R3D format.
RCX can always export a "baked" format (use full debayer) if R3D files are NOT being interpreted as expected/desired in the application of your choice. I tend to not use too many Adobe products these days, so I can't comment on the state of Premiere.
(I haven't spent much time in Premiere, beyond occasional use, since Windows NT).
project frame rates are listed as 24,25,30,48,50 and 60.. all resolutions
max frame rates go more like 6k 12fps, 5k 48fps etc
im thinking the "all resolutions" phraze is erroneous.. and misleading
Hey Terry - my rep said that as of now, Scarlet-X to Epic-X (MX) will remain the same $9,500 price until further notice!
Would RED care to comment on why the price hike is happening in less than 3 months? It seems very strange (almost ironic) to have this ultimatum placed right at the end of an announcement on Scarlet Dragons just starting to ship. Couldn't this wait till 2015?
Also are there other price increases that we should know about?
any chance we can start switching to global shutter technology asap please red, i want to record real life..whatever it throws out?
