  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet 8x meets the Iron Horse

Oooh, lucky people!!!
Anyone wanna buy an EOS 1D III ?

I hope the "surprise" at NAB is a Scarlet demo-reel... of stuff exploding at 120fps...

Lucky lucky, Tell us about that Scarlet

I love this.. and it looks like ssd is the way to go.. No gyro also which is interesting can't wait to see how it comes out.

Awesome. Glad to see a Scarlet in the wild, and only an hour's drive north of me is even better. I really hope we get a final spec sheet and estimations on pricing at NAB. Oh and ability to deposit online as well as at NAB deposit would be nice

Scarlet 8X & blue sky : how anything could go wrong ? ^^

Is that a RED Brick attached on his pocket ?

Not exactly.

Its a 90Wh V-Dock battery. I can't remember the brand. The problem is that the Red Bricks are 140Wh and you can't fly with that as carry on. So Ketch and Joseph chose smaller capacity batteries for the Epic Tour.

Until RedVolt shows up these are a great deal. This setup is very lightweight feeling with an Epic and RPZ 17-50. A 90Wh brick runs an Epic +LCD + RedMote for about 1.5 hours.

So it lives....

Joseph must be in Heaven.
So are about 15000 Scarlet users.
Skateboard pic. telegraphs its future in a no-small-way.
Of course its potential is enormous outside "Watch me Ollie"!

This NAB will be huge.
Tsunamis be damned.

IMHO ... Joseph should get the first publicly available Scarlet 8X off the assembly line.

He deserves it.

Just don't let him choose the color pattern of the body. :w00t:

Man, you guys are the masters of tease.

Great to see the camera out in the sunshine in capable hands though.
