  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

That's what I almost resorted to. But then I figured with Kelly judging and I had that camera idea, I nixed the red sticker model shoot. :biggrin:

Thanks for the kind words on my entry guys!

I am so kicking myself right now... I had a stack of attempts that I didn't develop because the film either slipped for one reason or another or a couple I was stupid and slotted the film in backwards. I went and processed them just to see what I had and I'm a bit nauseated.

I haven't scanned any in yet, but I just had to take shot with the still camera and play a bit real quick with a couple. Look at these two. Initially discarded because the right eye view was half out of the slot even though the top was taped and I put it in facing the wrong way. I set them aside in an empty TMAX box and kept the lid closed so they wouldn't get exposed.

Because the right view was out of wack, I don't know if they'll line-up properly for 3D imaging, but way more clear and nice than the image I submitted. I've got more, but it's starting to get depressing to look at them. :waaa:

Anyway the negs are on top, and I just inverted in photoshop for the bottom, no color correction or anything. Grrrrr......

I'd love to, but with the exposure times on this thing and developing, that's a scary proposition. :)

I like Ace's wiggle-vision though. I might give that a shot or something similar.
 
If somebody has two similar DSLRs, two remote releases and some time on their hands, it'd be pretty simple to mount the cameras on a piece of wood right next to each other. Put a handle on the wood, set the cameras to "stun" and run around [well... walk slowly around] taking sequential pictures! Bring them into your favorite compositing software and you should be in business.


Ready... go!
 
Hehe... I've got two identical 50mm Nikkor lenses. If I had two identical DSLRs I'd probably try it.

I've been shooting so much in the last weeks that I could not buy the sticker and make better this photo, but it's not photoshop!

personally thought the homeless pic was stronger than the train (still a very cool shot of course)

i'm miffed that nobody seems to have noticed the symbolism in my 3rd entry, the goodbye note signifying the death of his relationship with film
all anybody sees is boobies. sigh

ah weel. next time will try the cannon toting homeless naked biker chick idea as other poster suggested. maybe have her in latex chaps spanking a sony executive. can i borrow your ride elcurado?

Yeah... time is good too. I've got quite a bit of that, but not a lot of freedom to go with it. I'm hoping to change that real soon though. :)

I noticed the symbolism, I think most did... Don't worry, we all had an appreciation of your entries and probably on more than one level.
