  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED future...

I couldn't agree more....Red is the future and I see it everday at work.

So were the 3 of you standing at crafty next to jim when he posted this? Thw timing was to perfect;)

Good seeing all of you onset today.

Red is producing tools which makes us happy to use! You guys would know what i mean surely if you see me holding my future EPIC camera :-) Just can't wait any longer....

Red seems to be so very much the company 'of the users', and I don't think theres anyone in the forums who's had interaction with memebers of the Red team would think that confidence and support for Red to be misguided.

So roll on 2011, where selfishly I'll declare that I have some great new tools to tell the stories I have - thanks to the Red Team AND all the members of reduser.net who offer varied and energetic opinions and advice that provide more experiance and education than can be found in books.

With the gushing over... any further news on the MiniPrimes?

The engine sounds revved to me.

Not redlining...yet

But something tells me there is always another gear.

what else can we say????

In the beginning, some said that RED was a scam. Now some say that RED is a one trick wonder. I have said that "the 1st is the worst".

So which is it? Is RED likely to last?

Yes!

I guess this post is to say that we have more in development than we know what to do with. Our sensor program (the heart of a camera company) is way beyond my wildest expectations. We have stuff in the works that would scare you.

Bring it on!

I am shocked. Every day I wake up, the realities of what we dreamed are becoming a reality... and more. It is pretty surreal. EPIC (a nuclear reactor in a matchbox) is just the beginning. Hard to believe... but true.

Obsolescence obsolete. All the things we are doing forward work with what we are doing now. That was the concept. That is real today.

I thought I saw the future in 2005 when the decision to build the RED ONE was conceived. I also thought that was a big plan. While I guess it was... I see a much more advanced future now. Stay tuned. We have just warmed up the engine.

Bring it on Jim. We trust you and the entire RED team to bring us the tool we don't yet know we need, so we can be as creative as we can be and produce amazing images.

Thanks for continuing the battle and being scary!

Steve

When I read "RED future..." I thought you were announcing another product. A camera that can record the scene before the actor emerges from the greenroom!

Let´s play!

Just saw some more stuff I can't talk or tweet about that blew my mind - sometimes it sucks to be on the bleeding edge - Nab '11 buckle up!!

Totally forgot about Mark's post on Twitter the other day! Makes a little more sense now!
