Red Day Vegas 2010 Pictures Thread

Thank you RED for a wonderful event. We all really appreciate it! Keep up the amazing work!!!

Hi,

I got a chance to speak with Ketch briefly tonight.

While I miss his culinary flair, he's working on bigger things...

But I'm not going to spoil the surprise.

Steve

And one more pre-Event interview with Ted:

It might have sounded like Ted said that you could control playback with the Redmote... again, he is doing a zillion interviews, and keeping track of piles of specs for many different products... but that would be interesting if true, and I suppose it would mean you might be able to control playback from the mounted media through Wi-Fi (using the proper module)...? probably not the case, but at times it would be very cool for a small crew... it will be interesting to see how much the Redmote can do once it is finished!

My impression of that statement was if you have the camera hooked up to a monitor over in video village, you can control playback on that monitor via the RedMote without having to walk over to the camera. Not that it streams the video to the RedMote or anything like that that.

Woooow!

That's looks an incredible equipment, not only cameras!.. And some new things!...

First of all, I have seen 3 differents Brains... Looking to the back side, and long size:
1 .- Standar EPIC (same as 360º details on http://epic.red.com), seems like: http://www.inspirationstudios.com.au/picture/img_8202.jpg?pictureId=5068837

2.- Longer Brain (An old prototipe, or may be FF35?), seems like:

3.- Shorter Brain (Looks like 2/3 Scarlett):

I love Gunner.... It's crazy man!

I'm very interesting on "DIT Station", is from RED?? I work a lot as a on-set workflow supervisor and media downloader, and it looks like a FULL studion on a suitcase!

Red Light???...

And finally I want a RED Matte Box, It's looks great... Will be a 15mm rods support? or only 19mm ones. I would want to re-use my DSLR ring on my future S-35 Scarlett.

1.) Epic w/ a Red Pro
2.) Fixed 2/3" Scarlet
3.) Interchangeable 2/3" Scarlet w/ a MiniPrime

MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, a NAS, a UPS, and CF readers and a great RED DRIVE toaster dock - yours in a single case for under $9000.

These guys are whip-smart, too - more than willing to customise if you don't have precisely the workflow that the case currently employs.

EDIT: most importantly; the case has cupholders.

was great to see everyone.. thanks coming.

Hey Jarred, sounds like it was a success! Unfortunately I couldn't make it out, definitely next year! Anyways got a minute to enlighten us with any additional information on the Scarlet or the new HMI lighting? :)

was good to see you hang around for a good part of the day Joseph.... and thanks for all the help you do over on Scarletuser.

My privilege. I try to surround myself around those who know more than me, so yesterday was a great day to listen to Jim about some of the business side of things, as well as being around you talking about the DSMC.

Unfortunately I couldn't get more than "...They are our BEST FRIENDS...".
