Then he added: "...Scarlet will follow a few months later". We knew all of this but still nice to see Ted repeat it.

Again he could just be struggling with the mountain of specs to be released during NAB, but he says: "5k cinema at 125fps".
That would be an other little but welcome 5% more than the 20% over announced spec we recently heard of.

720p dailies on ipad

The iPad's 1024 x 768 resolution means a little less than 1280 x 720, but I suppose this very short line could mean they are saying that the iPad can handle an incoming 720p h.264 stream... We'll have to wait and see what the official word from RED is once they are done with the presentation and event... probably some time tomorrow?

Alexa is technologically obsolete something like on old Apollo 8,.. (that even below Apollo 10 or 13) compared with EPIC that's like the latest Space Shuttle.

That means you could go in space with ALEXA but that just to smell how it is (low broadcast HD on SxS card or 2K with a tethered HD-SDI recorder)

compared with EPIC that can go in space several of times and also can do some serious work there like a recording 5K, 4.5K,...CF, SSD, HDD all onboard.

EPIC, Jim, Ted and Jarred.
