  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

I've made up my mind as well and will be switching to S-W as soon as my rep is back from vacation....
 
It's a good move Aaron - am in love with my SW: very happy I switched, just been getting used to it over xmas ready for real jobs after the holiday. Can't imagine a better camera! ( coming from fs700/7q)

Yah, considering that I can afford S-W now over Raven and the larger sensor size, totally makes sense to just upgrade to it now.
 
a friend of mine picked up his raven i/o pkg from red hollywood yesterday, so they ARE still coming out...

Just updated the list with all changes up to this point. This will most likely be my last update to the list since I'm upgrading to S-W.
 
I would just cancel Red Direct orders and order through an authorized dealer! You'd get it even faster that way. For a Scarlet .. not sure about the Ravens though.

Even Raven orders seem faster this way. The Raven Users' Facebook page reports one user getting his Raven, ordered on 6th June 2016, through TRM France.
 
I have - several times - been almost promised by my dealer (Camera Nordic) delivery dates, but nothing so far.
Paid the deposit for the Raven package May 31 2016. Do I fit in the above Raven Queue?
I see that many Ravens are allocated before me. Do I have to wait to April or May?
What does "allocated" really mean?
How much faster delivery if I switch to S-W?

I just officially switched my Raven pre-order to S-W. I just looked and S-W pre-orders were up to late Dec. 2015 so I expect to get mine REALLY soon since my Raven pre-order date carried over.

Allocated on the list means people paid in full for their cameras.

Since you didn't order from RED directly, if you placed an order for S-W now, you won't see it till mid to later in 2017 at the soonest.
 
I really did pre-order a Raven brain from Red in April 2016, which is still a sales order on my Red account.
After that I paid the deposit on the Raven package to the dealer, when Red asked me to do that.
Now I have two orders - a brain with Red and a package with the dealer.
Messed up?
What will be the time-line for S-W if counting from April 2016?
