  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FULLY AWARE THIS LIST IN NO WAY REPRESENTS THE ACTUAL QUEUE - IT'S FOR FUN FOR FORUM USERS TO SEE WHO'S GETTING THEIRS IN RELATION TO OTHERS.

Saw a post way back where it was brought up for everyone to post their purchase time to get an idea where we were in the queue. I've taken the ones that posted along with mine and started a thread that will update as people post - I KNOW there are many missing... please chime in if you've preordered! Let me know if anything is incorrect with your date/time and I'll update - tried to make sure all were in PST when time zones were listed.

Seriously? ;) If i remember correctly, the last time we had such a list it was the source for "questions", some sadness and more of such negative things. And didn't it get closed later?

I understand the desire to keep a little track and figure out your own position and all, but honestly it also is a little like playing big brother for RED, overseeing their work... And that doesn't feel right. I personally just trust RED, they'll deliver as soon as they can and they will handle the line in the fairest way possible. That's what they always did.

Can't wait to get THAT mail from them. :)
 
FWIW, that's not how I interpreted this thread. I trust RED. I'm also curious to see who else stayed up late to jump in. :) I could have serial #100 or #10,000, that doesn't matter so much to me. This is just one more thing to pass the time until next year. We're all fanatics.

Interesting, I was surprised to see people on this thread ordering on the 24th when I ordered on the 25th at the first announcement, but was at IBC in Amsterdam , but then realized we were already in the 25th, early am. I hope there will be an adjustment in the queue to a real time start clock. For example my order at 6:46am on the 25, time would be exactly the same moment as somebody ordering in L.A. at 9:46pm on the 24th. It would be easy to make these adjustments by RED stating exact time of announcement and then figuring the time zone one was in relative to it. Kind of like time code.

Should be interesting to see if the "Brain Only" orders ship earlier. Either way looking forward to it whenever it ships. Best B-Cam for the price.
 
I had to cancel my original order of 29 September but i re-ordered it on 24 October. Bummer i know but it will be worth it. Brain only.
