  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

Looks like people are shifting to S-W as Raven allocation has stopped altogether. April 19 S-W sounds good, while Raven still languishes in November! :(

I ordered the Side Handle today and also asked my Rep about the current Raven Status, btw. he's a very nice and helpful guy.

And he wrote, and I hope it's ok for RED that I mention this here: "The delay has occurred partly due to the large amount of orders we have received, but also due to manufacturing complications. Until the manufacturing issues have been resolved we are unable to give any delivery dates."
As to what those complications are is highlighted by Jarred in this post.

So, that means waiting. But I did see that a S-W was allocated from RED Europe earlier today, so maybe that's a good sign.

I noticed Jarred closed that particular thread down. Anybody else wondering why they would shut it down? The timing is suspicious. BTW my rep told me last week to expect it by the end of the year. My rep is awesome and I have no reason not to believe them.

No worries, at the end it was mainly a talk about the epic-w, the thread was shutdown when they released the new cameras.

Kevin, couldn't locate you in the list. When did you order your Raven?
Btw, Jarred has told in the post not to believe any rep regarding any estimate on delivery. :P

I hope your rep is right, but with your time stamp of June 2016 I am sorry it seems unlikely. My time stamp is December 2015 and I still have not heard anything. I can't imagine RED getting through 6 months of orders before the end of this year - but maybe your rep knows something..... It has been unusually quiet on the Raven front?
 
Looks like Raven allocations have really really stopped. And officially, there is no word from Red! :(

This is GOOD news Aleksander! This could mean that they are finally getting back on track with Raven pre-orders...
 
Looks like Raven allocation has stopped ever since Red announced the upgrade scheme. My suspicion, Red will be holding on the Raven allocations till the upgrade window time is over, which is 31st December.
As of now Red's priority looks like Epic W->Red Weapon->Red Scarlet-W. Looks like Raven is nowhere. :(
