  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

Ordered a Raven 10/10/16. Apparently I should've ordered it a year ago. I don't know how you guys have made it this far without losing your sanity.

Finally I'm not last on the list. Congrats on the order though! What's your estimated delivery? I wouldn't be worried by the long wait times so far. I really do think deliveries will pick-up.

I don't know? I ordered in December 2015 and I don't feel confident that I will have it in my hands until 2017. Not complaining but I feel it is best to be honest with any new order. I think it is best to be prepared that you will need to rent, borrow or steal for the next year!

If you had ordered it a year ago, you would have got it by now. :)
But, I have a feeling once the long pre-booking queue is cleared, you might get your camera faster. Unless Red decides to concentrate on something else.

This month Red seemed to have shipped 3x Scarlet W, which has delayed Raven allocation. Hope next month will be better.

Thanks SW ( Maybe your initials are a sign to upgrade? ) They said early 2017, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I knew I was buying one eventually, but just quit my job this past spring, so I wasn't sure how everything was going to fly. Things actually went extremely well, so I'm wishing I jumped on a pre-order last winter. But, it is what it is. Hopefully things speed up, and in the meantime I'll keep plugging away with my A7S2's. If I have to rent a RED I will. The problem is, I live 2.5 hours outside of Toronto, so renting is a pain.

Good luck to everyone that's been waiting far longer than I!

Appreciate the honest feedback... I'd have given up on RED by now if I were you. Hope you haven't had to resort to theft at this point...

Ordered my Raven 6/13/2016.
I was told estimated delivery in September. In September I was told estimated delivery before end of 2016. End of October I was told probably not till new year. Yikes. Hard to hear other camera have shipped in between.

I have only begged and borrowed so far - but this waiting does send you a bit nutty - I am hopeful of having the camera within 12 months of ordering. But......

Same here. Talked to my dealer yesterday, and they said February 2017..
 
Updated the list on page 102 with all of your guys pre-order info. Sounds like yet another week has gone by with no allocations :(

Lack of updates is troublesome. Letting people know the general status of production would at least curb expectations as well as help others plan for their upcoming shoots.
 
3/29/16 but no worries when it show all cool shooting two features before it shows in the next 90 days hopefully just one lol
 
Today my Rep confirmed to me that they're STILL going through the November Preorders.... just so you guys know..... I'm prob getting mine around Feb (If I'm lucky)

I don't get it, how can that be. They were at the end of November a month ago.

I would really appreciate a proper update from RED about the RAVEN Shipping Status.
