  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

Hello to all.

I'm based in Ireland and was allocated on the 21st of last month and have yet to receive my Raven. It seems at least a few other people in Europe are in the same boat and this is the only time I have actually been annoyed with Red. However my rep has told me that my Raven is likely to ship this Friday/ Monday - although this is not certain and I would imagine depends on the mix of cameras that comes over in the shipment from HQ. Hope this is of some help to those in Europe who have paid for their camera long ago and are still waiting.
 
Mine, is a freaking 10/15/15...
And I payed full amount 21st (20st) like Stephen
When I bought my Scarlet mx 4 years ago It has been a week between allocation-payment-shipping.
Dealers win, but I never switched to the local one because I wanted the deposit to be refundable.
I imagine they are alternating Scarlet-W with Raven on the same line. And now it's Scarlet time again?
 
2/19 raven switcher to E-W. Allocated Monday and paid for tuesday. I assume ravens will start flying out the door soon. S-W's have really picked up
 
Well, I was going a little paranoid, but I saw today a Scarlet W being allocated after 10 month.
Seeing that I'm not alone with such a long wait makes me feel better and easier to move on projects and filming instead of refreshing browsers
 
I'm at Raven to SW to EW switcher. I was allocated on Oct.11 the announce date of the EW made full
payment yesterday my EW arrives today can't wait!
 
Updated list on page 102 with Jay's switch to SW. Devin, your name wasn't on the list so no change there.
 
Looks like there has been no allocation for Raven for the past one month. Was it a S-W month or just Red was busy with Helium?
 
We'll see if anyone gets allocated this week by tonight/tomorrow. I really hope the Raven assembly line has started back up now....
 
What most likely is happening is during September they were shipping Ravens and building Scarlets and now they are building Ravens and shipping Scarlets. And it will probably switch back an forth for the next few months.
 
This big joke.... I was allocated month ago and I still waiting for any news about the shipping....
My Rep do not know anything and do not answer my emails..

Really hope it's starting back up too.. I thought October was supposed to be a big allocation month from what was said. Not trying to point a finger at Red or be negative at all, but I completely feel the pain of some fellow hopeful red users. Red usually has a way of making things right. On to November. :/
 
No worries here just use the camera you have and shoot until the new one shows up

the crew is working as fast as they can for everyone, I will DJ for the line when they spin the que back up in anyone is listening...

I'm certain the people here are aware of that, but I also believe it's ok to be a bit frustrated if you have to wait for something for this long, no matter what it is.
The users know RED is working 24/7, nobody suggested otherwise. ;)
 
Xactly, is not just the wait that's driving us crazy, is the fact that we really have no idea of even an aprox date for the allocation. If they where to at least give some sort of date, no matter if its long, then we could get organized for that but we haven't got a clue of when we might get allocated so that's the worst part, to be waiting in the dark :(
