Raven Queue Put Together

Thomas Ramsey said:
I would really love to know the status of the Raven orders. I did read the July update from Jared in regards to the sensors but the queue never seems to move. Has anybody even heard of an October 1st allocation yet?

According to the list from the previous page, you should be getting allocated like ANY day now if not already....

Hey Guys!

First time posting here, but I figured I'd add my name to the queue if that helps! I preordered on September 26th at 17:39. Still haven't been allocated yet.

Best,
Grant Bell

Rayven

Rayven

Ok so i ordered mine on October 11th. I just saw a guy that said he ordered his on sept 26th. (my friend chris ordered his on Sept 28th btw and has had his for 2 months already) I've been speaking with Clark this whole time then he sent me to a link here then he told me he wasn't dealing with my order anymore and is transferring me to some other rep named Hunter. So then i find a guy george on here and he already received his Rayven. He tells me he ordered his in Jan from Red then transferred his order to a local dealer, and receives his in May. I forwarded the email to Hunter and he said its not true and George is a liar. So I wrote the store in Atlanta (Innocinema) a email and Justin Gulf the owner wrote me back and said it is true and Hunter is wrong. George did in fact order his Rayven from Red in January and transferred the order to his local dealer and received his Rayven in May this year. He said it is because Red give dealers priority and we who ordered directly from them will be last. :(

Yes I can agree with that - I ordered from RED in late March, then switched to a dealer early April and got mine in late June.

Justin - As @Brent has stated MANY times, dealers do not get any priority. How that happens is the dealer put in their order for several cameras the day preorders were opened. So lets say they put in an order for 5 Ravens on September 26th at 9am. All five of those Ravens have that same time stamp. Then, if the dealer has not sold those 5, you could order from the dealer at whatever later date (like the guy you are talking about), because you are effectively canceling your order and timestamp (January), for their order and timestamp.

Hope this helps.

There are a LOT of people still waiting. It's easy to get impatient, but the wait is worth it. And rest assured knowing that dealers get no priority whatsoever- they are in exactly the same queue.

Helium is great and all, but I wish more resources and attention would but put into the Raven/Dragon sensor production. Also, we really can't trust the queue anymore as on the list, we are up to September 30, but Grant Bell just posted saying he is September 26th...and hasn't even been allocated yet. I am not complaining as much as I am scratching my head. I am sure kit would be worth it when it comes, I just had high hopes the wait would be a few months as opposed on what's looking like over half a year just to get through the first 30 days of orders.

Guess I'll add ours. Sure was hoping to have it for classes this semester :-(

Wow. Ordered June 7th 2016 with an "Early 2017 expected shipping date." Guess I should just tell myself it'll be Fall 2017 so I'm not disappointed.

Early 2017 is an unrealistic date! They're still shipping 5 October orders!
