  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven.... Everything Just Changed.

WOW just WOW. I cant think of any other company who would ever do this.

Having the extra field of view def brings things back to a format for lenses. 4.5k for the win

Nice.
Any 'everything subject to change... count on it' for the new side handle to include a small REDVolt ? :-)

+1 for that... oh and Mikael, please bring foolcontrol to android and all will be just perfect ;-)

Overnight this camera went to shy of Academy 35mm in width to just wider than Academy 35mm. Very cool.

Very cool. RED RULES. For the uninformed it might not seem be a big deal, but IT IS GREAT!

Just to confirm a few things if Jarred is still around to put the official stamp on it:

RAVEN.
- 4.5K max resolution
- 4.5K @ 24fps is REDCODE RAW 3:1
- 4.5K @ 120fps

Damn!!!! I can't believe what we are getting for the price, so excited to have this camera in my hands. Next announcement, shipping in December, hehehe. Thanks RED.

I'm guessing 30fps in 4.5k, perhaps 48???

woah 120fps at 4.5!!! thanks phil, I'm over here like double rainbow guy.

I'm pretty sure since there's no increase in the Y resolution that the specs have remained the same as what we previously knew the max features would be. Waiting for official word.
