  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RAVEN Allocation

soooo.... im dying to see the first post of allocation... it's not real until then lol.
 
I will happen. Jarreds pretty good with the small print. Jim, on the other hand, God bless him, but I'm glad they took away his microphone privileges. :001_smile:
 
Wow. I feel bad for BMD. What a screw up. I am glad they made the video instead of keeping buyers in the dark. Maybe they read this forum and see how the leaders at Red communicate so well with the public.

The shipping announcement was undoubtedly bittersweet. Wish their user base well. What I really enjoy about this forum is having the Fire Chief chime directly on announcements, updates, policy, etc. Feels very forthcoming. I dig it, in a very positive way.

yes i switched to a pkg, but i was assured it didnt matter which i had on order with my early time stamp, because with scarlet-w brains first it was because the accessories didnt exist yet.
anyway, not complaining. im sure my email is stuck in the server somewhere, haha.
 
Hoping dealer allocations are separate from RED direct orders

Exactly!!! This is why so many BMD users have made the switch to team RED. Yes BM eventually makes good cameras. But Grant and his piss poor communication is what burned that bridge for me. Jarred communication to his customers is unparalleled. I kept my pre-order on the ursa mini 46 and it arrives this week, but its already up for sale on fleabay. I am so excited for my Raven! Screw BM.
 
no they werent, at least no one on reduser and no mention of it happening from brent or jarred, i was checking all day.
hopefully today is the day they allocate at least 5-10 raven packages! praying.

Don't they usually wait till the end of the week to do the blasts? I guess the fact they did some Thursday and Friday means they could be sending out notifications more often now.
 
I was contacted yesterday early stating my order was ready to pay and once funds cleared they would ship. BRAIN only.
Keep you all updated on the progress. Pretty sure i was one of the first 10 to order after the announcement. Trying to out shipping, hopefully clarified in the morning.

Hey Peter,

Welcome, and congrats on getting the email! Any chance you can give us your timestamp so we can add it to the list of orders to try and somewhat keep track of where they are at? Can't wait to see some footage :)
