Hey there,

I just got my hands on a Weapon over the weekend and recorded both in R3D and ProRes LT for some quick offline editing. I'm curious if this idea actually works as the ProRes files span after 4 and a half minutes. Will this connect back to the R3D files later down in the editing pipeline? First time poster but long time RED user :)

I think it's really up to the software package that you are using. If they aren't properly set up for this workflow yet, they probably will be very soon.

In the meantime though, there have been reports that Convergent Design has a Prores stitching program that REDUSER's are having succes with. I pulled this link from an early Prores stitching thread. https://www.convergent-design.com/c...ple-prores-transfer-tool-v2-2.html?Itemid=519

Also, here is that thread in case unit want to peruse. http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?143706-ProRes-Spanning/page2

Just tried the CD program it it didn't work. Errored out after a few seconds. I had prores XQ2k files.

Anyone know of a program that does exactly this but works?

email me Jack... I have an 'not released yet' app to help with that ...

GAMP concatenates the weapon prores on ingest (if you choose to). Have been used on features etc.

Mail me at gunleik@gunleik.com for a developer license

Will be Windows very soon.
(That goes for anyone who wants to run current GAMP at this stage. I'll give out developer licenses for a while.
