I have one redmote that updated to 4.09 when attached to the camera and one that just says firmware is not compatible and tells me to remove device and update firmware.
Is there a link to 4.09? dont see it on Red.com

Thanks,

Paul

Were you trying to use the same SSD (without re-formatting and then loading the firmware upgrade again) to upgrade the seconed one? That is, were you trying to upgrade two redmotes (for use on separate cameras?) from one camera?

The REDmote firmware needs to be at least 4.0.x to be upgraded directly from a camera. If your REDmote is version 3.x or below you need to upgrade through a computer. The upgrade utility and REDMote firmware can be downloaded from https://www.red.com/downloads. The upgrade utility is part of the "DSMC RESOURCES" download and the REDmote firmware is a separate download.

Hi Trent,

Where can we get RedMote firmware which is compatible with camera build 3.3.14 ?

The RedMote firmware on the download page says it is only compatible with v3.2.x:

REDmote Firmware v4.0.10 is compatible with Epic/Scarlet v3.2.x

That is a typo on the download page. 4.0.10 is compatible with v3.3.x
