This is in line with my past guess of having a detachable lens mount/sensor module that wirelessly transmits Redcode R3D or possibly .RED data back to the detached brain. I guess it's possible the display could be permanently attached to such a front mounted module. That way, the camera could be both heavier (rear brain) and lighter (front lens/sensor module.) Current displays could attach to the rear brain for secondary monitor.

The skull model would be a prototype then. On the last front picture I see a possible detachable screen on the side. Maybe one side of this screen is a touch screen for menus when using external monitors, and the other side a display. But what about the sidehandle then?

some will some won't. Some modules like the plus one module become redundant, since there are now 2 LCD/EVF connections on the Weapon brain itself.

I think you will have plenty of time with your Dragon before you are ready to move forward. The good news is that you are already well positioned (as a Dragon wonder) to do so.

That is one thing we are carrying forward ( because we can ) ... There will be an adapter to make current LEMO monitoring/touchscreen options work with Weapon.

This is beginning to sound expensive. As in, whole new set of modules and accessories expensive, not just upgrade expensive.

It's all probably seriously better, but the future comes at a price, I expect.
