Sweet!!!

Thanks for sharing!

I don't want to be that guy, but "GUHHHHH...HDMI?! Please give us two to three SDI feeds with different luts (log or even Rec.709)!"

Also looks like mini XLRs? not so crazy about that.

Modular. This would be the legacy one.

Cool.

I certainly hope that's the case and we have multiple monitoring options, fullsize SDI in for those occasions when sound department foists their responsibilities upon camera department do happen. But HDMI? Oh good lord that connector needs to stay on video game systems and blu-ray players...and nothing else!

Looks like a display on the AC side, let's hope there's one on the operator side as well.

Looks like an integrated Switchblade. And personally keep the dumbside controls for the AC. If the OP has a red touch there you go, but the AC controls should stay on the right side. It's sort of standard operating procedure.

Great! I want an updated 4k out module, that will allow us to use our beautiful box for live presentation. Imagine if the Oscars were weaponized and you could have viewed it on a 85" 4k/UHD? Promise me that next year or soon thereafter that a Red shot movie will be awarded a best pic/cinematography Oscar and televised in Red 4k live capture.

Are you guys sure those are mini XLR? They look like the same 1/8" to me.

There does seem to be a combination of metal and carbon, so hopefully a lighter form factor.

Awesome!!! Much rather have Mini XLR over mini plugs (if those are mini xlr). Also hdmi is great! Connect to tv's/monitors is important. Modular is awesome!!!! Hope the batteries last a long time and are light weight (if they had be updated too).

Our red bricks can work? Second photo of redvolt XL module correct?
