  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yeah, definitely different from current Epic Dragon but not too in line with the pics we've been seeing of the Weapon.

But they do say there are going to be different versions of the Weapon. Maybe this is a Howitzer model. '-)
 
For the bottom image, maybe suggesting that the two knobs lock something in place (black to tighten and red to lock) will get someone thinking in more creative ways than I can. I thought, "Hey, maybe that's a new way of attaching rails to the camera" but I think I'm a little off-base.

What really doesn't make sense is that Jarred said Weapon has ports for EVF and LCD (no need for a +1)... Does that mean there's a new EVF as well?
 
No, Jarred said that older EVF/LCD could still be used, but with an adapter. So that implies a new LCD/EVF connection interface
 
Thanks Todd... Almost had one of those "But, but... you have to believe me... I'm *not* crazy!" moments...

Wonder if it'll be smaller than Le Bomba...
 
Well I guess there will be a larger Dragon sensor then...or they've changed the existing sensor orientation.
 
Also - Jarred confirmed on FB...the name "Weapon" is derived from "Vista Vision"...the two "V"s make a W! Jay Kim figured it out!!

Hmmmmmm. Is this what CARBON WEAPON does OR is this a future upgrade? ... Or both!!!
