  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OFFHOLLYWOOD

Mark

Congratulations. We all share your excitement. I'm sure your phone will be ringing off the hook on Monday in NYC.

What I love the most is that there are FOUR ZEROS in front of the number six.

I like that kind of confidence. We all do.

Waiting for the first. "OFFHOLLYWOOD rolls on EPIC feature" threads to start coming.

I'll actually be out of the country in the alps. With my family and OFFHOLLYWOOD's new baby. Yes - it will be an EPIC XMAS.

Alps, snow - perfect HDR material!! :sifone:

Congratulations Mark and all the OffHollywood folk! Its going to be another amazing year with these things popping up. I wonder if you'll get much sleep in 2011? I look forward to following the tweets and seeing the pics ... on the big screen!

I think a lot of people in the industry forget what this camera was really made for: THE BIG SCREEN. Sure, its great for so much more, but when you see RED on the big screen - really big - like when I saw CHE 1&2 at The Ziegfield - you just sort of zone out and forget all about RED, or the quality, or the technical achievements. You get into the story - if well told - and find yourself transported. Which is just about the best compliment any camera maker/entrepreneur/ass kicker could hope for -

- and that is something Jim and all his employees and long time supporters can all be proud of.

Fantastic news! Great start. How many more will go out next week?

OMG...OMG...Mark you deserve this....OMG....it does look sexy...how exited I feel and it is not even for me...I am happy for you Mark...RED is a great company

This may be the first time ever that the world actually is excited to watch someone's home movies ;)

Congrats, Mark and Red. An Epic for Christmas is a great gift, and a great milestone to hit.
