We are selling two Angenieux HP 25-250mm zooms. We purchased these early last year from working DPs and have used them on our shoots. Very nice glass, sharp and very pretty, particularly on the long end. What we really liked about these particular zooms is that they only weigh about 10lbs., which is much lighter than other long zooms out there.

As you can see from the first picture, each lens includes support for 15mm Rods (one includes a mount for a zoom motor), a small lens hood that let's you mount and rotate a 138mm filter on the front, front and back caps, etc. We also have a case for each (one is an anvil-type case and one is a pelican), which isn't shown in the pictures.

We also have a Century 2X adapter and a Optex 1.4X adapter which we would consider selling with these zooms.

Please send me a PM if you are interested in either or both of these zooms.

Best,
Walter Rissmeyer

Hi,

Thanks for all the PMs. I think I've responded to everyone at this point.

One lens has sold (with the zoom motor bracket support and the anvil case) so only one left.

A few people asked about the lens mounts in the front. These lenses have a universal mount so that you can change the mount. We have PL mounts on the lenses, but the mount in front is the Arri Bayonet that comes as part of the kit. Don't know if you'd ever need one, but you'll have it just in case...

sorry if slightly off topic but i've got one question:
i have a lens similar to yours (just older) with the same universal mount, but i have the Arri Bayonet mount option only.
Do you have an idea if it's still possible to find somewhere the PL option to swap mounts?
thanks

Walter, those HP's look to be in great shape! I've always liked that version of the 25-250mm. I had the Super 16 version 11.5-138mm, and the optical performance was superb. These lenses actually have better skin tones than the Zeiss primes!

In regards to the lens mount, I'm sure the HP's use the universal mount with the screw-on ring holding it against the flange. But the universal mount itself is quite costly. I think Visual sells them for about $650.-
