  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Now it begins. Red BT shipping

Tracking number received! I'm SO excited! It'll be here tomorrow afternoon! I doubt I'll be very useful tomorrow.

Oh! Morning of the 2nd.

Talked to my Bomb Squad rep today, and I never expected for him to tell me anything other than "It'll Come in the next month". But I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that it was less than "Weeks" out. Which basically equates to 2 weeks or less in my brain. Either way, I'm stoked to have this thing in my hands. And super happy with RED, and the Bomb Squad, it's refreshing to have a business like RED in a sea of others who don't care. Patience is a virtue. It's getting close. ;-) (Ordered 11/7) CHEERS!

Everyone is in for a big surprise! Hang in there. If your new to the RED family as I am you will soon find you were blessed with an amazing tool at an unbeatable price. Now get ready to use your tool to make the next blockbuster hits or all this worrying will have been in vain.

I also received tracking info today. Ordered on 11/2
Good luck to all.

Well I found out where my camera is.

It's been sitting in a DHL warehouse in Auckland for a week, waiting for... something to happen... about customs clearance.

After a few days they decided it might be a smart move to *write* (as in hand-write) a postcard and drop it in the *mail*, asking me to get in touch with them.

NO other contact.

NO tracking number.

NO shipping notification from RDC.

NOTHING.

The first notice I had that my camera had shipped was from DHL, after they had sat on it for a week. Oh, and when I phoned them, they said 'you want your camera delivered? Fine, that'll be $820 please'.

RDC, if you EVER send me anything using DHL again I will personally fly to California and personally deliver you a lecture. No charge.

Fire them, now.

Mike

$800 customs? Yeesh I'm scared about that living in Canada. I've been getting destroyed by the fees lately...

Hey guys. I just received my BT R1MX. I was surprised. I was told that my camera had been allocated on 11/26. I ordered on 11/3. But I never received a shipping confirmation. It just showed up today (I had paid for standard overnight shipping). The camera looks to be in decent shape. It has the occasional nicks. But I haven't fired it up yet. Serial number was 10000+ but it is definitely not new. Curious to find out how many hours are on it after I fire it up.

I am a little let down now.... I have nothing more to complain about.

Showed up! And good God! This thing is a tank! Set up my rig and plug it into my TV to check it out, and it looks so good! Haven't shot a single frame on it yet. Serial number 10158.

I was invoiced today, but still no word on when it'll be here. Hopefully soon... No idea on customs. I used some web services to estimate and it's looking to be around $420 something. But I could be totally wrong. I've been getting completely screwed on customs charges for all the accessories I've ordered (not through Red).
Someone already received it in canada?
I wonder know how much was customs and taxes.

Ordered on 11/2 and it just arrived. Looks great!

Tought that all MX cameras would come with the sign "mysterium-X" below the RED name.
