If all 3,700 of you will all be at Red Studios for the big release day, that might reduce the server traffic a bit.

[Jason Diamond]

Thanks Brian,
I got my tix... see you guys soon.

"On the 3rd, Canon's event starts at 3pmPST......so I expect a press release for what ever is being announced will be released by 5 or 6pmPST....On the 4th (second day), Canon will be holding a 2nd, invite only event from 1-9pm."

OK so at RED studios (L.A.) on the event, will they also be showing the CANON event (on screen) or projected? Just a weird thought, so that at RED studio we/one can all see and behold what is what? You know, compare and all that, throw beer cans at the screen (oops) or not.

Just a crazy idea.

Just made my reservation, this will be great. Some more details on ordering on site would be nice to have prior to the event so that we are prepared. My only concern would be how the queue will work in person compared to ordering online when people can get their orders in within seconds of everything going live?

Edit: Nevermind, I just actually read the description of the event on eventbrite that clarified this. Thanks guys! Really looking forward to this.

I bet there will be a few more things other than Scarlet on the 3rd. Invites going out yet?

I am often blind and stupid.

The registration is now live - http://scarletcamera.eventbrite.com/

We look forward to seeing you on the 3rd at 5pm - contact me at brian.henderson @ red dot com with any questions.

[Carter Cammack]

The boat should be full within the hour. Wish I could be there. I feel like I know a lot of you already.

[Nikhil Kamkolkar]

heh heh heh....

Do three heh's mean the Epic part of the announcement will be that stage 4 reservations open up on the 3rd? Man, decoding Jarred's laugh is tougher than decoding the Beale papers.

[Sergio Perez]

heh heh heh....

That's what I suspected... I think November 3rd will be a great day not only for upcoming Scarlet Buyers, but for current and future Epic buyers, also. "Obsolescence obsolete" should mean also a jaw dropping announcement (not in a FCPX way, mind you) for the Epic line...
