  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Pacific Rim Trailer

Del Toro has always had an awesome visual style. Loved him since Chronos. Not surprising he chose the Epic.

Awesome! Makes me proud to be an Epic user, congratulations to Jim and the RED Team!

This is why I'm glad Del Toro never ended up doing The Hobbit - can't wait to see it!

Holy crap. That looks rad. There was an old anime I watched as a kid called Giant Robo and this gave me some weird modern nostalgia. Love it.

It looks inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion, one of the best animes of the past decade. (Too "inspired", in fact. Not sure if its a good thing)

Visually stunning.

Navarro is the Truth... Who knows maybe he will do another Spawn some day. Looking forward to Pacific Rim.
Makes me think of
Emmanuel Lubezki.. Childern of Men.
Both from Mexico City

Those are 2 Gentleman I truly wish I could of worked for as some point in my life.
Id do just about anything to learn from them.

They give me the hope I can make it some day.

Amen...

Ooooooh yeah!

For looks alone this is a must see! And I believe a must see twice (at least)!

I don't know if the story will hold up but I believe in Guillermo del Toro to deliver the story along with the images!

I predict that after this I'll just long for the next of flic of "The Guillermos"

The currently filming Godzilla re-make has some big shoes to fill as it is and Pacific Rim is definitely looking like a slap in the face to bring it on.

Saw a panel with him at The Vancouver International Film Festival -- he is very special and generous with his time.

Brilliant Cinematographer.

Generous with his time is an understatement. I think he must be a test subject for a government millitary project that succeded in removing sleep from our DNA. I just watched an interview with Charlie Hunnam and the man was working 19 hour days on the movie while still finding time to work on a novel.
