Just curious to see if anyone had a chance to play with this. Ordered mine and wanted some early feedbacks if any. Thanks.

The new firmware just came out so I doubt there will be any reviews until at least next week.
Will F-Mount lenses fit onto this mount? I have many old F-Mount lenses I use on my D200. I'm wondering if it's worth getting this mount to make use of them?
Does the mount control iris on a G lens? I thought that I read somewhere that it does, but I don't see a manual control for it, so I assume it controls G lenses via the camera...
Awesome, Marq...thanks!
I have 2 G lenses Nikon 17-55/f2.8 and the Tokina 11-16 w/ Nikon mount currently working with the OptiTek mount (which I am very happy with thusfar) - and I have a Zeiss ZF kit, but they are manual aperture...also curious about how the new mount handles the Ziess'
...that RED mount looks pretty damn sexy
Just a quick detour if you guys don't mind...
What EVF are you guys using? I just tried the Z-Finder. Not bad.

Yes, F-Mount will work, but older lenses won't have the diodes to support AF or Iris control.
I just received the RED AL Nikon Mount, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with any of my F-Mount lenses. I have a set of Zeiss ZF.2 from Duclos.
Was really hoping to be able to not use ring adapters, since RED makes such solid locking mounts.
