Another example why resolution matters...

Still extracted from Motion on R1 MX for storefront display @ Coach NY. Shot by Steven Sebring

Extracted from motion? Ha. That's awesome!

Not sure [the other guys] had thought of this...

Looks awesome,

BTW, Jarred, what will be the main processing that will differentiate between Epic and RED MX ? Since both are using the same sensor but the result is vastly different

very cool

Would you post a 100% version for us still guys to see? It would be nice to have some still images to play with in CS5 to see how well they hold up and at what size.

What's the time of day Jarred, do you know? It looks 7:30 8 PMish, no? Shot in the last couple days or last month? I'm trying to get a sense of the ambient levels. ;-)

Jarred is saying the image IN the display was pulled from motion on a RED One.

Pretty amazing!

I tried extracting a still from a 7D motion clip and it sucks... I'm sick of it.

I want it RED and I want it RAW!

Well duh! :) But even if you had a RAW 2k frame, it would still not look nearly as nice as a 4.5k or 5k RAW frame if you are blowing it up to this size and displaying it at such short distance from the shoppers.

Kinda like the front rows at a theater... ;)
