I think it is an optional accessory right?

The movi pro has a 3 motor driver built in.
This works with Mōvi controller, and Heden or Redrock motors (maybe some other motors too like Chrosziel or other?)
They do not have a thumb wheel or trigger for single operator use, that was confirmed last week during one of their Youtube live sessions.
Did they give any hints as to whether or not they will develop this?
They also do not have power cords for various cameras (ie BlackMagic) and it isn't clear if they will or not. When I had a Helix, Letus made me a custom power cord which was pretty nice of them![]()

There have been subtle hints made publicly that a separate hand unit is in development. Beyond that it is not clear if/when that will happen.
Personally I think the system is a lot stronger if we could use third party controllers with the system. I think a Freefly branded one would be fine, as long as it's excellent, but I would also like the option of only having one hand controller when switching setups.

Why do you say this? I have two thin flexible cables for my 7" made by media blackout, but they are not long enough for gimbal. Are you saying there's a problem with thin cables and the 7 inch touch monitor with a longer cable run?
You can get away with a standard thickness of extended cable if you're careful to loop it and hang it with enough range - it's even less of a bother with the new Pro gimbal. I even ran one on the M10 before there were any thin cables to use.
IMO though, it's better to use a light weight monitor - especially a daylight-viewable one. Best I know of is the Transvideo Starlite. With the foolcontrol system and other accessories, it's not so crucial to have a touch interface anymore. Also 7 inches is overkill for gimbal usage - that's more of a size for Steadicam where the monitor is well away from your head.
