  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Neat Video for DaVInci 10 now available...

But where do you apply ? Premiere/AE or Davinci

I do it after all my color correction. Sometimes my corrections bring out some noise, so for me doing it at the end is best. Doesn't really matter in what program, I prefer to do it on the R3D's before exporting/transcoding so it's usually in Resolve for me.

I used to do things that way, but sometimes on 4k material (and rendering out to 2k/1080), actually being able to get at the full res original helps a ton.

Also sometimes qualified adjustments add their own unique noise, so Neat Video after color ends up with some odd artifacts.

Just to be sure. Does it work with Davinci Lite on Mac?

I love Neat Video but haven't used it much since I dont like going into After Effects as well. But applying it in Davinci sounds real nice.
I talked to them before and you can get Neat Video for all video application for 399 dollars. Would be nice to have the option to work in both FCPX, AE and Davinci for me at least.

Best
/Andreas
