Yesterday we brought back HDRx for Dragon in the latests camera build... and fittingly NASA just made public one of the things that they are doing with HDRx on their Epics. Pretty cool stuff...

Moon is white. Space is black. No wonder they need HDRx.

And this is one of the reasons, aside frame pulling, why I still have hopes for a miracle form the RED Engineers to find a way to have the Sensor via any toe of way, interact with the Motion Mount in such a way to allow HDRx... ;)

So much range within the scheme of light is just out of this world, and while is incredible as it is that you guys manage to bring HDRx back on to Dragon... I just love the Motion mount and don't ever want to take it off the camera... ;)

What is Graeme's Signature?

"Science enable stories, stories drive science."

So glad to see the EPIC as a scientific tool!

"one of the things they're doing"... what else are they using Epics for? :)

impressive...

I am also hooked on the Motion Mount...I call it the Magic Mount...Would be cool to have HDRx and the Magic Mount at the same time...

Who said HDRx was dead?

With Dragon we may need it rarely but I know it helped our VFX folk at Sony on Spiderman so I am still happy it is available.
