Just got an email that it should be shipping out shortly so I should have the full kit in a few days once its shipped. Very excited to get this upgrade. Will post up thoughts as soon as I get ithas anyone with scarlet received theirs?
Would be great if anyone could do a sound test comparing the dB from the same distance.

Hs anyone tested front fan with view factor 15mm adapter?
Confirmed: The Viewfactor 15mm LWS bracket does NOT work with the front fan. The bottom right corner of the fan assembly makes the most contact with the 15mm rod bracket, and the left side makes contact ever so slightly. There does appear to be enough material on the corners of the fan assembly that they could be shaved down carefully to fit, removing approximately .5 to 1mm of material, however I am of course not suggesting that you do this... and if you do, it's absolutely at your own risk and would probably void any warranty on the fans. The other option might be to grind a small groove in the rod brackets, but this could present a problem of weakening the brackets.
I WILL POST PHOTOS OF THIS TONIGHT. Standby for an update to this post.
Does the fan make less noise than the original one at 25% (minimum) fan speed? Thanks
the top fan is that it is pulling air out of the top of the camera, instead of relying on the bottom fan to force it all through. Working together, they are definitely going to be more efficient, allowing for quieter (not to be mistaken with silent) operation.
I will confirm the top fan plays nice with the WC top plate. For the front fan you will need to order the FAN FIXER from WC.
I've read that the top fan only works when the camera is in an overheating situation. So is the top fan always on, regardless of the camera temp?
Pat
The top fan kicks in when it needs to. But to say only when "overheating" is not accurate, too extreme. So, depending on temp, it may be on right after boot, it may not be.

I'm going to buy both fans anyway, but with this knowledge, if you could only buy one fan, the front fan would be the better fan to get since its always on and quieter than the current front fan? Or is it better to get only the top fan because it comes on when its needed, and will help the front fan that is already there.
It is all user preference, really. We are just providing options of combinations you can use to suit your needs.
Trevor, the asymmetrical meat as you say is probably due to misalignment of the bottom plate. Loosen the bottom screws and straighten it out.
