  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2014 - SIDEWINDER

Is there any news on when the sidewinder is coming out. i can't wait to have them in my kits.

So the Red store says it has a Slotted and Phillips screwdriver, but the pictures for the store and the pre-release versions show otherwise. Can it be verified on what the release version will have.

Sometimes…, it's the little things

I've been rocking' this bad boy since the Fire Chief handed me one at NAB. I love the fact that once initial setup is done I can put the SideWinder in my pocket and not have to wear my AC kit/belt all day long. On top of that, as Phil noted, its so much easier to just have one item to keep track of. Thanx Jarred.

Not shipping quite yet. For those of you with proto units in your hands from NAB (is, the same unit in the image on RED.com, the production version will have a couple of extra bits - Phillips head and a flat head suitable for mounting plates. Working on final details to add them in. But, seriously, this thing will be something that never leaves my backpack. So excited.

Glad to hear about the addition!!

However, a word of advise... If and when Traveling by Plane" do NOT have it ON you ON board, they'll take it away from you, if you can not find a way to get in your Checked Luggage!!

If there's time to make one suggestion as I see you guys are making a pouch for it, punching a small hole for a cord or keychain to pop though would make this handy. Though many will find use for the pouch.

I've must been keeping mine in my pocket and whipping it out real quick to get stuff done.

Love that you're adding the flat head and that other thingy!

I call them Terrance (flat) and Phillips (cross) screwdrivers.

You can imagine with a name like mine and father who was/is a woodworker that a "Phillips" screwdriver more or less becomes years of trauma embedded deeply from a young age :)

I just saw this. Brent you made my day and most of my night.
I am really happy to hear that the flat head is making it into the wolf pack. I am so tired of bending coins trying to tide up the bottom plate.

Cheers. ///
