  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2011...

So Robert, you are offering a Hand to help "whip" ketch's Cream for the tiramisu?

Sorry, couldn't resist!!!

I walked right into it... as usual, I'm the perfect straight man setting up the gag!

..in a show biz context of course..

hehe, bad boys..

with over 240 Eggs, and over 30lb of Imported Italian Mascarpone Cheese to whip, if it was not for been able to use my
friend's 50 Gallons Dough Machine at his restaurant, there would be no Tirami Su'.

However I do need to stress, that first of al, I fill real bad now that it seems we are :jacked: Jim's thread ;),
and second, very important to note, that Unless Steve is organizing the after party as usual, and is able to pulls is
Magic again with the Casino Management, there can not be Food brought in form the outside ;(

Hmmmmmm

So... What say you, Steve?

Neither would I, but remember, prices don't always go up with RED. the EPIC was at first said to cost $40,000... ;)

They have said they've been doing some number crunching. Everyone seems to be making cuts. Just hope RED doesn't cut anything out their products to save a few pennies.

Steve, Ketch... I will be avail to help with tirami su or other areas. I have a real 9 section chain chip if the cheese is not cooperating.

Say Laco Gaal, I am not the best spokesperson for NAB Vegas, or for anything for that matter, but I will say it is pretty amazing how the Broadcast Industry comes together for this event.

I have been going for several years now and as soon as I get home from one I'm ready to go to the next Vegas NAB event. Vegas, the place that it is, contributes to the excitment of NAB. But the excitment is in seeing industry development and people. The Las Vegas Convention Center, one of the largest in the World, is packed with toys and creative people.

Price from Europe, I would evaluate, and for sure less often, but I would make it as often as I could. At least once so you can start thinking about frequency.

I'm sure you have checked out their web site.

I understand that this is a very newb question, but how much is it to attend NAB this would be my first time at NAB and actuallyy my first time visiting RED anything, I have used the R1 a few time and love the thing, I have followed the R1 since its announcement and also talked about the scarlet for ever since it was an idea and a little rounded ass camera... I love RED and cant wait to see whats in store for us in the future

Perry,

The NAB show is free for Attendees that pre-register online. http://www.nab.org/

Your travel expense of course. Lodging, food, drinks and gambling if you are so inclined.

I spend a minimum of two days on the floor after spending time on the Exhibitor Lists determining those exhibitors we need to check out. Then we try arranging them in a convenient traffic pattern to eliminate wasted time. We see all we can fit into the day. We have spent up to a week there, while fun, it impacts other things.

You most likely have heard that RED will be on the Show Floor again. Don't know about a Red Day Event at the moment.

Wayne, I have registered and am not seeing a free option. Can you post a link?

Thanks!
