  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB 2011...

If the surprise is anything close to having one of your employees dressed up in a straight jacket, you topped last year.

ah yea you are correct. i think since I attended last year with this it automatically entered it for me this year. You can't create a new registration with it now....

i entered fake info just to make sure and looks like it works :smile5:
 
Greetings to all here. I attended the Red Day in Hollywood in Feb. and was knocked out. I was also at NAB a few years ago at Red's first appearance. I am completely amazed at what Jim and crew have been able to accomplish and I am eagerly awaiting the availability of the Scarlets for general sale. I teach cinematography at an L.A. area community college and I can't tell you how excited I am at the prospect of being able to offer experience with a Red camera to my students. I'm hoping to be able to extend some grant funds into the next fiscal year when the Scarlets may be available.

I'll be at NAB this year checking out the Epic and Scarlet too!

Because I will be Permanently moving back to Italy were will open the new Studios
and Film School, and will not be back in the US, unless its to get an OSCAR ;)

I'm wondering if the "surprise" could be a RED 3D rig or a 3D RED CAM with 2 sensors. ;)
 
the one thing missing from this wonderful 4k world is 4k displays we can grade on. I know there were hints about them coming a year ago. but so far nada. I know sony have their 4k projector but thats a little too wallet heavy for most folks.

LOL.

You never know when it comes to publicity what these guys might do! Just hope they don't invite "Felix" the Lion.

It maybe they are ready to take orders at the show, or they have firm dates for release. I guess it would be good to keep our eyes open on the RED site during NAB.
