I'm hoping the surprise is working prototypes of the new Red Electronic lenses. Priced under $7K each. But true 4K monitor (not 4x HD) for a reasonable price would be a nice surprise too.

RED will have a fairly large booth at NAB 2011 this year... in the lower floor of the South Hall. We will show working EPIC, Scarlet, REDray and a new 4K reel. Plus a surprise.

any chance you guys will be at IBC this fall?
For the Central Europeans that can't make it to NAB that would be sweet.
Maybe you could throw a small European RED owners get together.
Should be a bigger group by then... ;-)

Jim, you could easily send this thread into orbit.
Just imagine what would happen if you offered to accept deposits before the show on a "surprise" product! Any takers?

Edit: Oops, Christopher beat me to the idea while I was typing...

Unfortunately, it appears that this will be only the fourth NAB that I will miss in the past 20 + years. I have a recurring annual commitment supporting a client at the Sea-Air-Space show in the DC area - this year, both take place the same week. I'll be checking airline schedules carefully to see if I can skip out there for a late afternoon pop-in.
Please consider a live stream from the booth for Ted, Stuart, Graeme, etc to talk to the world.

I have already been starting to plan my NAB trip this year so this is great news!

Will miss the Red Day type event if there is not one though. Being able to see the reels, equipment (EPIC!) and hang out all day with the Red Leaders and hundreds of Red Users was the best part of NAB last year.

Didn't get any of the Ketch Tiramisu
I walked the whole place an didn't see it

Ketch almost wasn't able to make it to RED Day 2010. But Tirami Su' or not, it was more than a pleasure to meet up with him...

I guess deep inside I knew I was not going to Move back to Italy till after this, which I expect to be the most Memorable NAB ever!!

No worries guys, this time I promise there will be in off for every one as we will make sure to get
every one's that is coming on a list at our site, but this will have to be served at the after party as
always, no food inside NAB it self.

Will make a new a in a week or two, so we can start taking names, I'm sure we will coordinate this together with Steve.
