#R3D announces collaboration with BandPro and "spreading its wings". A special kit of 5 Leica lenses for EPIC owners... twitpic.com/4jp5hv

Backorder is not interfered with current Leica orders... "It's a side project for BandPro" #R3D

The longer I wait on Scarlet, the more it fades from my mind. Let's just all get EPICs and forget the Scarlet ever existed. Let's get outta the crusher before we drown to death!

What could Red do to help Leica produce lenses faster?

More from the Offhollywood twitter:

"iPad app to control EPIC is just awesome. Change your color settings, etc."

"Scratch is now on OSX. Scratch Lab as well"
"Scratch: NEW pricing for Mac & PC: Pricing: SCRATCH LAB: $4995 SCRATCH SIX : $17995"

Highlight of my NAB so far: I finally got to meet Graeme! We had a big hug and rubs our heads together. :)

Thanks Stephen. What stream were you guys watching? I missed it. Or are you there?

About "Dragon". It seems pretty straight forward. [THIS IS NOT A QUOTE, BUT AN INTERPRETATION BASED ON REDUSER POSTS I'VE READ]: It sounds like they are saying "The name of the Mostro-generation of Red's sensor technology will be "Dragon". We have been working on it, it is crazy cool, we can't wait to get it done so you can see it, and so we can all shoot on with it". So, if that is in fact the case, then I would say that Dragon is clearly not "the surprise".

If a 4k projector WAS in fact announced, then THAT is clearly "the surprise". Projector which you can bet your arse will PULL DOWN the price of digital 4k projection from where it is at currently. Well, that bet is based on the prices Jannard has put on all of his products thus far, which are ridiculously low when compared to the competition.

Swappable Low Pass Filters for Epic!!

They are making some with ND. Sounds like an extreme out-of-the-box--thinking way to make your right lighter yet.

Ted (transcribed, forgive me if there are any mistakes):

"Dragon is the name of the first Mostro sensor",
"(Dragon) to be released some time in 2012",
"if you already have an Epic you'll just have to pay for the price of the sensor",
"there will be an other leap that will be exponential"

And, Mike Seymour has RedVolt batteries!

It sounds like they are saying "The name of the Mostro-generation of Red's sensor technology will be "Dragon".

My interpretation is that the Monstro generation of sensors could include the FF35, 645 and 617, but the S35 version going into the EPIC-X and -M as an upgrade is called "Dragon." So there could be "Monstro Dragon" and "Montro Something Else Cool" and "Monstro Something Even Cooler and Bigger"
