  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Last year was an amazing time, poker, charity, filmmakers, DPs, camera prizes, who could ask for more! Would be great if Red could sponsor some prizes.

Great to see more Redusers will be joining the game this year! See you guys at the tables.

Can you imagine what it's like behind RED's closed doors? I bet it's anything but quiet... last Vegas party these guys all looked like walking zombies I think Jarred and Deanan had stayed awake for 34 consecutive days... :)

Will be finishing up some work in Amsterdam and then jetting over to see you guys!!! Since I cant pickup Epics I will be diverting flow to my personal "Indulgence" account and picking up my new Rapide in Madera... then driving to LV to see you guys!!!

I'm registered, and I'm excited to attend! My main reason will be to see what RED has in store, and also to just visit friends in Vegas. I'm going to be booking flights and lodging soon.

The NAB website says "Conferences April 9 – 14, 2011 // Exhibits April 11 – 14". So, my question is, does RED's booth open (and the secret get let out of the bag) on the 9th or the 11th? I'd rather come on the 9th and 10th since it's a weekend, but if the booth and all of the eye candy doesn't open to the 11th, then that's when I'll be there!

If this has already been answered, sorry, I glanced through the thread, but couldn't find anything.

Can't wait, Jim. Looking forward to what you guys have in store. Didn't get to meet you at last year's Red Day, but I plan to remedy that next month.

The show exhibits (where RED will be) don't open until the 11th. The weekend is for workshops, conferences, etc (basically the stuff you pay money for).
 
First time I am considering going to NAB. And of course I wouldn't like to miss my first Red Party and shake my hands with Mr. Jannard. Is there anyone this year, and if so which date? I'd like to book my flight in the next days. I was thinking flying NY to Vegas on the 11th, and come back on the 13th. Or maybe 14th? What do you guys recommend?

One question....

When you get around gear, are you like a kid in a toy store?

If so, you should plan on being there all day, everyday that the floor is open.

I suggest flying in on at least the 10th. You don't want to be in-flight when all of the surprises are being unveiled... :)
