  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thank you very much for the heads up. This is great news... I have held off purchases to see how things play out. Though, I should be wiring my money for #557 this week. Just that last part blows my mind... then more NAB fun.

Yep a lifestyle as I see my free time crumbling away...free time what free time. Looking froward to seeing all of you guys again.
 
For those getting their cards to go in at the convention center, what time do they open? I couldn't find it at the site. (I was thinking get there about 7:30am).
 
The doors open at 9AM for attendees. If you have an exhibitor badge, you can get in before that.
 
What is the exhibitor badge? I have a nametag with my name on it, and a little plastic card thing. Do I bring both of those to the gate when I want to enter? What time should I be at the gate if I dont want to wait in line?
 
You will only get an exhibitor badge if you work for a company that has a booth at NAB.

Put your name tag into the clear plastic sleeve that says "NABSHOW" at the top and "EXPOSITION" at the bottom. You need to wear it to be allowed into the building. The thing that looks like a credit card is used at a booth when you want to be added to their mailing list.

The doors open at 9AM.
 
Hi Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Red Lightning software will be floating around NAB and showing our new software that supports RED cameras. I won't even think of competing with the RED announcements, but I am sure RED shooters will be very happy with what we are doing.

I will be on the show floor, at the RED party ( giving away a copy of our software as a door prize ) as well as the FCP super meet, I should be pretty easy to spot. I am about half the height of Jarred ( isn't everyone? ) and I will be the one wearing the Red Lightning Software shirt :)

I look forward to seeing you all there.

am also keenly awaiting nab 08. as i am in india i can not come to attend it but will expect an online update at the same time as it is done at the booth.
also i have heard be rumors of scarlet being given to red one owners first. i am saving every penny and holding on to my decision to buy a new camera. so please no reservations of any kind will be welcome.
