Could you be a little more specific?
There appear to be three different designs of the USM motor, the Ring type, the Micro USM and the Micro USM2 does this word of caution apply to all three or just one or two of the designs?
If so, can you list the linses for which it applies?

right now.. I'm using the power of "velcro" to get the job done. but planning on some strategic mounting holes / bracket to attach to rods? what
