Quick update...
Ordering web page will be up tomorrow evening, sorry it is a bit delayed due
to "day job" interference... such is life at the moment.
...
All sounds great but has RED approved it as not voiding their warranty?
order page should be up in a few hours, testing some web stuff.
untill we get our real e-commerce site operational, I have setup a quick
paypal checkout thing. making sure it works.
I still have not been back down to red to show the latest greatest.
last I heard from Jared they were busy busy, with the announcements last week.
and I'm going to be in NYC all next week, but want to get down there to present, as soon as everyones schedules allow it...
lately I wish there were 36 hours in a day 24 just isn't enough anymore...

What's the dumb mount delivery schedule look like if it was ordered today? Can I pick it up today instead? Thanks.
Wasn't the dumb mount approved by Red? Or has it changed? Will the dumb mount void warranty at this time until you can get down to Red?
I thought at one time it was approved. So if the hardware part/design was approved, but only the electronics has been changed, which is what can cause problems with Red, then the hardware would still be approved and therefore the dumb mount wouldn't void warranty (minus the electronics). Anyway, that's my thinking.
Yeah... maybe it's better to just go with my Nikon mount and wait for the Canon. But maybe Andy has more info about voiding the warranty.
Does anyone know if voiding the warranty is the same as voiding the upgrade?
